In this letter to the chief copy editor for his publishers, Winston Churchill discusses illustrations for the last volume of his four-volume biography of his ancestor, John Churchill, the 1st Duke of Marlborough (1650-1722). He asks for and offers suggestions for illustrations that can be used in the volume and adds a handwritten addendum with further suggestions of illustrations and where they might be found. George G. Harrap & Company published Volume IV in 1938.
