Official American League (Barnard) baseball signed by Hall of Fame pitcher “Lefty” Grove on the sweet spot. Grove’s signature has been scripted in blue ink with a steel-tip fountain pen. JSA notes in its accompanying LOA that there is evidence of a signature removal on the south panel. This ball dates from the 1929-31 manufacturing period, which means that it was probably signed by Grove while a member of the Philadelphia Athletics. The ball is in very good condition with signs of light age toning present. Full LOA from JSA.
