Two years before winning the 1965 American League pennant, the Minnesota Twins were still a couple players short of a championship squad. The emergence of Tony Oliva, Jim Perry and Jim Kaat, and the acquisition of Mudcat Grant in ’64 gave them just what they needed to get over the hump. In ’63, the Twins won 91 games and finished third in the American League. The offered OAL baseball features 28 signatures of that burgeoning club including Zoilo Versalles, Vic Power, Jim Perry Camilo Pascual and Hall of Famer Harmon Killebrew. Still in overall lightly toned condition, this ivory sphere chronicles the players from the budding franchise only four years removed from their DC relocation. PSA/DNA LOA included.
